The start of the 997 was a really good time for Porsche. A new 3.8 liter version of their "flat six" engine, gave a top speed of over 300kph and a 0-100 of less than 5 seconds. Porsche A.G. were at the time the most profitable car producer on the planet and were happy to invest in their cars. The quality of the 997 really showed this!

The Carrera S came with 19" wheels, Li-Tronic head lights and P.A.S.M. adjustable suspension as standard. This lovely 2008 model year 997 Carrera S was sold new by Porsche Centre Melbourne in December 2007. It is finished in Basalt Black Metallic with Black leather. The 997 was universally loved when it arrived and in S form it was the pick of the bunch. With 355HP, 20mm lower ride height, adjustable dampers ( comfort & sport ), larger red calipers, BOSE sound and silver interior trim there was a lot to like.

This car is fitted with Porsches ultra-reliable Tiptronic transmission which is a joy to use in heavy traffic and yet still puts you in charge when the road clears for a bit of spirited fun. This car is in great condition inside and out ,there are none of the usual 997 sticky / peeling buttons here and the rest of the interior is really good condition for a car of this age.

It had its yearly earlier this year at Porsche Centre Willoughby and we have just completed a full Pre-purchase inspection report from Sydney’s leading Porsche specialist, which will be made available to prospective buyers.
